On November 11, Lieutenant Dan Gerken, Sergeant Joe Okos, and Lieutenant Sarah Dean-Blackburn all received
patriot awards from the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve program. All three played key rolls in providing
support to department personnel who were deployed to serve our country. The Seven Seals Award was also
presented to the department for its support of personnel who are Guard or Reserve members.
November kicks off our Thanks For Giving season and it's always a pleasure to assist Angels Outreach with their basket
delivery during the holiday season.
