The only one in the brood that hasn’t earned black type yet is the winning three-year-old gelding Hoodalum.
Arrossa said that Walker has two mares he would be foaling out this year: A Perfect Cocktail and her daughter, Doing Trix. A Perfect Cocktail was in foal to Moonin The Eagle, and Doing Trix was in foal to Zoomin For Bux, the sire of Zoomin For Spuds.
Eyes The Favorite (Favorite Cartel-Eyesa Painted Bug) was second under jockey Carlos Huerta. Paul Jones trains the four-year-old gelding and owns him in partnership with Lisa Beauprez, Thomas H. Bradbury, and Thomas H. Bradbury Jr. Eyes the Favorite at the end of last year ran second in the Southern California Derby-G2.
