Oneida County Fair Futurity
PATTYS SAINT

Fastest qualifier Pattys Saint, a homebred daughter of the Feature Mr Jess stallion Jess Got Easier, was a prompt odds-on favorite in the $19,500 Oneida
County Fair Futurity finals on Aug. 9.

Robert L. Harrison, Pattys Saint went 300 yards in :15.480, and her margin of victory was a 1/2-length from Threefamousdiamonds. Jose Figueroa rode the Idaho-bred filly, who earned an 89 speed index and $8,775 from her first stakes win.
The filly set the fastest qualifying time to the Oneida County Fair Futurity when she broke her maiden with a 1 3/4-length victory in the last of three trials on Aug. 1.
Raced exclusively in Idaho, Pattys Saint has won two of four starts and has earned $11,155. Her early-season resume includes a fifth-place finish in the 300-yard $25,500 Crush the Curve Futurity at Pocatello Downs on June 24.
Pattys Saint is out of SP Saint Patty, an 8-year- old daughter of the Check Him Out stallion Saint Shackleton.
Threefamousdiamonds (Tres Seis Nueve-Fames Version) earned $3,900 to bring her bankroll to $5,025 from four outs for owners CG Racing LLC and Mark Curtis. Cordarelton Benn rode the Idaho- bred gelding for trainer Monty Arrossa.
Sixth-fastest qualifier Zoommancoming (One Fabulous Eagle-Stoli Your Corona) ran third for owner Adrian Aleman. A Utah-bred colt and earner of $2,800 from five races, Zoommancoming was rid- den by Never Marin for trainer Ricardo Castillo.
Low Risk High Return (High Rate Of Return- Princess Phoebe), Cartels Breakout (Agouti-Jess Breakout), TM Getiton (Make It Anywhere-Reckless Girl), WB Tiny Star (First Moonflash-Bankie
Bay) and Conquer The Riches (Concorde’s Appeal TB-Race To Riches) completed the order of finish.

JUST WISHN

Sarah Huskey’s Just Wishn parlayed a quick break from the 4-post into a wire-to-wire 3/4-length victory in the $47,580 Colors of the Alamo Paint & Appaloosa Futurity at Retama Park on Aug. 15. Ridden by Francisco Ramirez Jr. and racing against a reported 10-mph head wind, Just Wishn covered 330 yards in :17.008, posting a 97 speed index. Esteban Rubio prepped the gelding.
Just Wishin was bred by Sandra Garnett Tatom. The gelding is the first starter foaled by Just Splashin, a winning homebred daughter of the First Down Dash stallion Awesome Chrome.
Just Wishin set the second-fastest qualifying time to the Colors of the Alamo Futurity when he broke his maiden with a head victory in the first of two trials on July 23. Raced exclusively at Retama Park, he has won two of three starts, and the $26,169 winner’s share of the purse from his first stakes score pushed his bankroll to $30,027.
Seperate Wagons APHA (Little PYC-Sallye Rand), the fastest qualifier and 4-5 favorite, finished second and earned $8,089 for his owner, Ervey F. Balderas. Victor Urieta Jr. rode the gray gelding for trainer Abraham Rangel.
VP Cold Strong Heart APHA (This Cartel Is Cold QH-Double Dashing Girl) ran third. Noe Villatoro rode the maiden filly for owner Victor R. Villarreal and trainer Martin Rodriguez.
JJ Cartel ApHC (Teller Cartel QH-Frosty Rose JJ) finished fourth and was followed by Dangerous Dan McGrew APHA (Coronado Cartel QH-Fade Shot), Wired For Royalty APHA (CRM Livewire- Thoughtofasqueen), Jess Mean N Wild APHA (Wild Perry QH-Mean Little Sis), Break Away James APHA (Ivory James QH-Friona), A Tempting Encounter APHA (Tempting Dash QH-Brief Encounter) and Going Bye APHA (Bodacious Dash QH-Dial Judy).

LIGHTEMUPWITHCHARM

Multiple graded stakes winner Lightemupwithcharm won the $75,000 Louisiana Classic-RG2 at Delta Downs for the
second time on Aug. 22.
Ridden by Luciano Duenez, Lightemupwithcharm
raced in third position early in the 440-yard test. With a solid rally through the lane, the gelding col- lared the early leaders and forged to the front in the final strides to post a 1/2-length victory. Trained by Miguel Rodriguez, Lightemupwithcharm clocked a final time of :21.459, earning a 103 speed index.
The $45,000 winner’s share of the purse lifted Lightemupwithcharm’s bankroll to $345,670 for owner Saul Dorado and the win, his third straight this year, improved his overall record to 29-9(4)-3(1)- 5(4). His previous stakes wins at Delta Downs came in the 2018 Vals Fortune Stakes-G2 and that year’s Louisiana Classic Stakes-RG2.
Jumonville Farms bred Lightemupwithcharm out of winner Grace Filled Charm. Lightemupwithcharm is her first stakes winner.
Heavy favorite Mpshinning (Mr Piloto- Shinningperrydash) with jockey Everardo Rodriguez in the irons, rallied strongly to get second. The colt is owned Larry J. Boudreaux and is trained by Adrian Huitron.
Tuckers Prize (Fast Prize Dash-BP Secrets Game), with Randy Edison aboard, held third. The gelding races for owner/trainer Preston Jourdan.
Fabulously Black (Game Patriot-Fabulously Fast), Dashing Forthe Money (Dashin Bye-First Girl To Shine), Leavin You Blue (Coronas Leaving You-Thecoloroftheblues), Gunsmoke B (American Runaway-Dashing Pana), Five Bar Jewel (Five Bar Cartel-First Down Hemp), DLJ Imma B Famous (Coronas Leaving You-Yugo Buds) and Barjaxs (Jess Louisiana Blue-Elealicious) completed the official order of finish.
