The second ten fastest qualifiers from the All American Derby trials have earned invites to the $100,000 All American Invitational, which will be run on Sunday, September 6.
The runners were met with temperatures in the 80’s and light tail winds throughout most of the day. The last two trials saw crosswinds reaching anywhere between 4-13 mph.
There is only one homebred joining the field – fifth fastest quali- fier Oatman Creek Senator, who is bred and owned by Wootan Rac- ing. No owners or breeders qualified more than one. Trainer Charles Duke Shults and Michael Joiner both qualified two. Jockeys Raul Valenzuela, Ricky Ramirez and Raul Ramirez Jr. each qualified two horses to the finals.
