Marmolly went into the North Dakoa Quarter Horse Racing Association Futurity unde- feated and left the same way, leading at every call of
the $20,545 stakes event held on July 30 at North Dakota Horse Park in Fargo.
The filly broke on top from the four-gate and led by a head at the first call. She remained in front by a neck as she came into the stretch.
Jockey Francisco Estrada kept Marmolly in front the rest of the way and the filly hit the wire first by
a neck. She completed the 350-yards in :18.010 for a career best 95 speed index.
Amanda Haar trains Marmolly, who reaped a $10,272 payday for her owner Billy Buchholz. The winner’s share improves the lifetime bankroll of the filly to $13,338.
Marmolly was the heavy favorite at the betting window, going off at odds of almost even money after setting the fastest qualifying time during the July 16 trials. In her heat, Marmolly led from start to finish and crossed the wire easily in front with a 1 length margin.
Marmolly now has four wins in as many outs, although this marked her first victory in stakes company.
Marmolly made her racing debut on May 27, winning an allowance race at Brown County Fair by 1 1/4-lengths. Next, she won the Chippewa Downs Mixed Breed Futurity, scoring a driving finish to cross the wire in front by a neck.
She remains undefeated from four starts, and has now has registered victories at three different tracks since breaking her maiden.
David and Debra Harsche bred Marmolly, who is the first foal out of lightly raced Marmalades Cartel.
Feature A Flash (First Moonflash-Feature Dreamgirl) finished second for owner David Wisdom and trainer Edward Ross Hardy. Jake Olesiak drew the riding assignment. The filly won her July 16 trial heat as the fifth fastest qualifier.
Little Speed Wagon (Paintyourownwagon-Little Free Speed) finished in third place. The filly is owned by Darrel Smith and trained by Cole Wilson. Jockey Marcus Delorme was in the irons. She was the second fastest qualifer to Marmolly.
Shake Em Strawfly (Genuine Strawfly-Shakem Sis), Sweet Home Dakota (Prospect To The Top- Fantastic Ellie), Texas Eye (Tac It Like A Man-An Eye Full), Miss Vals Easy Cash (Such Easy Cash- Miss Salty Val) and Bubba Garcia (Maximus Royal- Runaway Boots) completed the field.

Dean Miracle Ladd fought his way to victory in the $17,255 Cherokee Nation Stakes for 2 year olds at Fair Meadows at Tulsa on July 29.
The sorrel gelding broke from the 8th post position in third and ran out quickly to a slight lead. The gelding led by a head at the first call under jockey Mario Delgado and battled against the very competitive field.
The team led the rest of the way, finishing with a strong drive and crossed the wire a neck in front. They covered the 350-yard fast track in :17.709, earning a career best 91 speed index.
Dean Miracle Ladd’s lifetime and season earn- ings rose to $29,391 after winning the $10,230 win- ner’s share of the purse for owner Kendrix Brothers and trainer Edward Ross Hardy. Dean Miracle Ladd now has a race record of 5-3(2)-0-1
Kendrix Brothers bred Dean Miracle Ladd in Oklahoma out of winner My Miracle Lady. Dean Miracle Ladd is the mare’s only performing foal.
Krashin Cash (Krash Cartel-Hot As Diamonds) dueled with the leader, but was outfinished under jockey Daniel Torres. The gelding runs for owner/ trainer Luz Chavira.
Im Jess Sweet (One Sweet Jess-Sweetness Special) dueled and hung on to third late under jockey James Flores. The filly is owned by Sigrid E. Vazquez and trained by Manuel Martinez- Escobedo, Jr.
Unconquerable (High Rate Of Return-Fleeting Touch), Double Eagle (One Dashing Eagle-A Southern Gal), Olena Sangria (Dashair-Mt Rob This Corona), Jess A Secret LBH (No Secrets Here-Ja Jessies Doll), Ima China Rush (Rushago- Ima PYC China Doll), Streakinonthestrip (Capo De Capi-Streakin Virtue) and CY Corporal Ed (Coronas Prospect-Me N You Baby) completed the order of finish.

Thirteen was the lucky number for Gone Fast.
In the 13th out of her career, the four-year-old filly charged to her first victory in stakes company, winning the $17,020 Jack Rhoden Memorial Bonus Challenge on July 16 at Crooked River Roundup.
Ridden by Jake Samuels, Gone Fast broke well, emerging from the 3-gate to get away from the gates second and closed strong to prevail in this 250-yard sprint.
Skyler Greene trains Gone Fast, who completed the race in :13.239, registering a career best 104 speed index and collecting a $9,361 payday that improved the filly’s total earnings to $29,777.
Phoenix Farms home-bred Gone Fast, who now holds three career wins. The filly was already stakes- placed with three previous in-the-money finishes in stakes races. Most recently, she took second in the Sun Downs Distaff Challenge, held in May. Gone Fast also placed second in last year’s Jake Kapp Memorial Stakes at Weber Downs and third in last season’s Evergreen Park Distaff Challenge.
Phoenix Farms also home-bred Gone Fast’s dam, Beautiful Ashlee, who is also a stakes winner. The mare triumped in the 2010 running of the Evergreen Park Distaff Challenge and was a finalist in the 2010 Grade 1 AQHA Distaff Challenge Championship at Fair Grounds. Gone Fast is the only foal thus far out of Beautiful Ashlee.
Lebron 6 (Jess Zoomin-JN Sonoma Rose) fin- ished second by a neck for owner Juan C. Sanguino. Silvestre Sanguino trains the 5-year-old gelding
and Jose Guerrero drew the riding assignment. The gelding was coming off a win in an allowance race at Portland Meadows in 2016.
Sorelli (Brookstone Bay-Cupids Special Fly) and Tickle Ur Fancy (Dominyun-Sizzling Lola) fin- ished in a dead heat for third place. Sorelli is owned by Warlock Stable and Kelly Dougan and is trained by Roddina Barrett. Osvaldo Gonzalez had the riding assignment. The filly won last year’s running of the Emerald Downs Championship Challenge. Hayden Brothers Ranch owns Tickle Ur Fancy, who is trained by Hector Magallanes. Eduardo Gutierrez- Sosa was in the irons. The filly was coming off a win in the Carl Alleman Bonus Challenge at Grants Pass that was run on July 2.
Chicks R Gone (Chickie Cherry Cola-Oso Gone) finished fourth and was followed by Streakin TR (TR Dasher-Streakin Native Tea) and Win Surfer (Big Daddy Cartel-She Surfs). Flyin Rocks scratched.
