A winner of two of his three races, PYC Jess Bite Mydust has banked $90,341 with the addition of the $82,800 winner’s share from this stakes event. His trainer won this race last year with Eagles Span.
PYC Jess Bite Mydust is the first starter produced by Paint Or More. Racing in Minnesota, Iowa, and Oklahoma, from 2011-
12, Paint Or More earned $34,013 from 11 outs, and her three wins included a head victory in the 2011 North Central Quarter Horse Association Futurity at Canterbury. She also finished third in the 2012 Canterbury Park Derby.
PYC Jess Bite Mydust’s second dam, the winning mare Tell Her More, was a finalist in the 1999 All American Futurity-G1 at Ruidoso Downs.
Olmstead also prepped CR Game Changer (Game Patriot-LW Evening Lajolla), a home- bred filly who finished second, a head behind PYC Jess Bite Mydust. Jesus Salazar rode CR Game Changer for owners Dick Tobin and Curt Tobin.
Aregal Rainbow (Apollitical Jess-The Regal Streak) ran third for owners Michael and Gail Ahern. Jorge Torres rode the homebred filly for trainer Stacy Charette-Hill.
Two Timin Suzy (One Dashing Eagle- Suzy Cartel), Chick In Eagle (One Famous Eagle-Dashin Chick), Heza Prospect (Prospect To The Top-Little Love Affair), Lithe (Ivory James-Sinuous), Royal Dashof Diamond (PYC Paint Your Wagon-Royal Ready Too Wear), and First Flyin Eagle (One Famous Eagle- Gone First) followed. Tenth-fastest qualifier Kt Perry was scratched.

PYC Jess Bite Mydust earned his first stakes victory despite veering out slightly at the start from his outside post.
“He corrected himself and got the job done,” said Velazquez. “I knew we had a nose on them (at the wire).”
PYC Jess Bite Mydust broke his maiden with a 1-length win in the fifth of six trials on June 18.
