The duo of Bassett and jockey Joe Badilla, Jr. would qualify three horses to the All American Futurity, with Tres Seis winning his trial. Badilla picked Tres Seis to ride in the finals.
When the finals rolled around, Tres Seis started and took a length lead, but Ausual Suspect came late to overtake Tres Seis at the wire. This gave Bassett a 1-2 finish in the All American Futurity. The third Bassett qualifier, Doc Colby, finished seventh.
Tres Seis became a Grade one winner that year in the Golden State Futurity-G1, and he added a third place in the Los Alamitos Million Futurity-G1. He won the title of 2001 AQHA Racing Champion Two-Year- Old Colt. He came back at three to run second in the All American Derby-G1, with a third in the Rainbow Derby-G1. His race record shows his consistency placing first, second or third in all 12 starts with six wins, three seconds and three thirds, earning $856,901. All five of his stakes appearances came in Grade 1 races.

Some other Tres Seis leading money winners include Tres Passes, earner of $1,504,928 with wins in the Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity-G1 and Golden
State Million Futurity-G1; Tres Friends, earner of $920,879 with wins in the 2015 Rainbow Futurity-G1 and 2015 Texas Classic Futurity-G1; and Wild Six, earner
of $601,632 and winner of the Rainbow Futurity-G1.
As a broodmare sire, Tres Seis is the
sire of foals that have earned $6,340,766 from 242 starters with 181 ROM, 18 stakes winners, and 13 stakes placed foals. The success of Tres Seis as a broodmare
sire can be highlighted by several runners that won important stakes in 2014 and 2015. They include 2014 AQHA Racing Champion Two-Year-Old Kiss My Hocks, winner of the 2014 Ruidoso Futurity-G1 and 2015 Rainbow Derby-G1; BV Midnite Express, winner of the 2015 Heritage
Place Futurity-G1; Nellie Delaney,
 in 11 more stakes, including seconds in the 1999 Champion of Champions-G1 and the 1999 Los Alamitos Derby-G1. He was the 1998 AQHA Racing Champion Two-Year- Old Gelding, earning $576,250 from 28 starts with 11 wins, 6 seconds and 2 thirds.
The next stakes winner for Fortune Of Delight was A Delightful Dasher by Takin
On The Cash. A Delightful Dasher earned $1,660,525 winning the 1999 All American Futurity-G1, 1999 Rainbow Futurity-G1, 1999 Golden State Futurity-G1, and the 2000 All American Derby-G1. His three Grade 1 wins in 1999 earned him the titles of AQHA Racing Champion Two Year Old and AQHA Racing Champion Two-Year-Old Gelding.
A Delightful Legacy by First Down Dash became the third stakes winner for Fortune Of Delight with a win in the 2003 All American Juvenile Invitational-RG3. This mare won four of her six starts and earned of $179,153. She is the dam of three stakes winners, including 2009 AQHA Racing Champion Three Year Old and Champion Three-Year-Old Colt Inseperable. Her other two stakes winners are Seperate Interest,
a multiple stakes winner including the Kaweah Bar Handicap-G3, and Tell Of The Past, winner of the Los Alamitos Juvenile Challenge Championship.
The fourth stakes winner out of Fortune Of Delight was Buckshot Delight, winner of the La Mariposa Handicap-G3. Buckshot Delight was sired by First Down Dash. She earned $119,682 with three wins in 11 starts. The fifth stakes winner out of Fortune Of Delight was Indeed A Delight by Wave Carver. This mare won the Rainbow Juvenile Invitational Stakes and earned $48,947 in her racing career.
Dean Miracle by Streakin Six was the 1994 foal of Our Third Delight, and he became the first Champion produced by this mare when he was named the 1998 AQHA Racing Champion Aged Stallion. He earned $199,601 running in 14 stakes races, winning two stakes and placing second or third in eight more of stakes. His stakes wins were
the B. F. Phillips Jr. Handicap and the First Down Dash Handicap. He was second in such races as the 1996 Rainbow Futurity-G1 and the 1998 All American Gold Cup.
Dean Miracle went on to become

Inseperable, out of A Delightful Legacy, was bred by Eaves Horses Family Ltd. Partnership and was the 2009 Champion 3 Year Old & Champion 3-Year-Old Colt.
Dean Miracle, the first Champion out of Our Third Delight, became a successful sire with nearly $12 million in earners. and a top broodmare sire of over $6 million.
      JM Miracle, whose broodmare sire is Dean Miracle, wins the 2014 All American Futurity-G1.
