Beehive Futurity
JR TINKUP

JR Tinkup notched his first stakes win in the $92,233 Beehive Futurity at Laurel Brown Racetrack on June 16. This year’s race marked the richest event in the history of the Beehive.
JR Tinkup and jockey Raymundo Torres broke from the 5-post on the lead and stayed there through every call. He pushed his neck ahead of fastest quali- fier Femme Fatalia at the wire.
The two-year-old brown gelding made his competitive debut in the June 2 Beehive Futurity trials. He won his heat wire-to-wire and posted the sixth-best qualifying time. JR Tinkup covered the 350 yards in :18.126 to qualify.
JR Tinkup was even faster in the Beehive Futurity finals, completing the same distance in :17.775 for a career-high 92 speed index.
JR Tinkup brought home the $36,893 winner’s share of the purse for owner JR Stables and trainer Riley Moosman. With the victory, the gelding boosted his total lifetime earnings to $37,243. His record remains a perfect two-for-two.
JR Stables bred JR Tinkup, the only foal out of winner JR Dash Of Shania.
Femme Fatalia (Favorite Cartel-Kool Kue Chick) finished second under Cordarelton Benn for owner Melody Olsen and trainer Glade Van Tassell.
JR Dynasty Czech (JR Dynasty Mountain-JR Czech Swing) was second under Jesus Valenzuela, finishing third for owner JR Stables and trainer Riley Moosman.
Loyal Soldier (Foose-Proud Checker), Firebaugh Jess (One Sweet Jess-Firebaugh Filly), Pistol The Kid (Pistol Packin Perry-Nitas Fame), Showmethedoe (No Secrets Here-Bundle Doe), Jazzing Moves (Maknmoves-Jazzing Jenna)
and Mischievous Bay (Brookstone Bay-Miss Mischievous) completed the order of finish. Cir Kingzlees Queen was scratched.
South Valley Futurity
STAUBAUCH

Staubauch secured his first stakes victory in the $15,070 South Valley Futurity at Laurel Brown Racetrack on June 16.
The bay gelding, who is owned by Jere Brinkerhoff and Gabriel Caballo, broke his maiden in the June 1 trials, covering the 330 yards wire-to-wire in :16.995. The clocking gave the gelding the fastest qualifying spot going into the South Valley Futurity finals. Brinkerhoff also trains Staubauch, who led
at every call in the finals. The gelding broke on top from the 3-post and led by a neck at the first call and maintained that margin as he entered the stretch.
In the final yards, Staubauch pulled away to cross the wire 3/4-length in front, finishing in :16.924 for a career-high 99 speed index. The victory produced
a $6,028 payday that sets his total career earnings at $6,588. His record is now 2(1)-1-0 from three starts. Jesus Canales, the regular rider for Staubauch, was aboard for this stakes victory.
Ralph and Carolyn Fales bred Staubauch out of unraced Girls Rock. She has produced 100% win- ners/ROM earners from six starters. Her top money earner is Mygirlrox, who was third in the 2012 Princess Stakes Derby. Staubauch becomes the first stakes winner of the brood.
Scooter 777 (Carters Cartel-Yours Mine N Ours) finished second under Oscar Cervantes for owner/ trainer Sergio Canales. Chasin Harm (Hawkinson-YR Brown Lucy) was third for owner/trainer Reed Pierson under Rider Todd Thomas.

Rocky Mountain Futurity
INVITE A FAVOR

Invite A Favor set a New Track Record while notching her first stakes win in the $59,200 Rocky Mountain Futurity at Arapahoe Park on June 16.
Under Jockey Roberto Valero, Invite A Favor broke on top and grew her lead at every call, crossing the wire 1-length in front. The team completed the 330 yards in :16.922, earning a career-high 93 speed index and a New Track Record.
The filly brought home the $23,680 winner’s share of the purse for owner Margarito Montalvo
and trainer Jose Cruz Villafranco, boosting her total lifetime earnings to $25,690. Invite A Favor began her career at Remington Park, where she finished unplaced in a maiden race, before winning her Rocky Mountain Futurity trial by 1 1/2-lengths on June 1 where she qualified with the third fastest time.
Bill and Marsha Drake bred Invite A Favor out of two-time winner Inviting A Snow. She has produced 100% ROM/money earners from 3 starters. Invite
A Favor is her first stakes winner and top earner. Inviting A Snow, the dam of Invite A Favor, has produced two winners from three starters. Invite A Favor’s third dam, the First Down Dash mare Scarlet Oh, was stakes-placed.
Cerapio Figueroa piloted fastest qualifier One Two (One Sweet Jess-Im Hayley Two) to second for Margarito Montalvo and Jose Cruz Villafranco.
I Did It Like A Man (Tac It Like A Man-Corina Corona) finished third under jockey Ramiro Garcia for owner Santos Lopez and trainer Tim Weeder.
Cold Stone Cartel (Teller Cartel-Valiant Red Vixen) and Beyond Speed (FDD Dynasty-Hermes For Me B), dead-heated for fourth. They were fol- lowed by Makeitraain (Tempting Dash-Zoom To The Money), Denali Snowflake (Louisiana Senator-One Famous Folly), RCJ Doitnow (Winners Version-C Roon), Logans Favorite (Favorite Cartel-Logans Dash) and James Foose (Foose-Sweet Jessica James).
