CHLOES SMOKE N FAME

Helped by a disqualification following a stewards’ inquiry, Chloes Smoke N Fame earned her first stakes victory in the $64,825 Wyoming All Breeds
Racing Futurity at Energy Downs on June 24. Switching Creeks crossed the wire first in the 300-
yard stakes run on a muddy track, but the filly was disqualified and placed sixth, moving Chloes Smoke N Fame into the winner’s circle. Ridden by Jose Guzman, Chloes Smoke N Fame covered 300 yards in :15.998, and her margin of victory was 1/2-length from Brindis Cruz, who was placed second.
Chloes Smoke N Fame made her debut with a second-place finish in one of eight Wyoming All- Breeds Futurity trials on June 9. The $22,689 win- ner’s share of the Futurity purse from her first win in two outs pushed the filly’s bankroll to $23,314 for trainer Chad Giles.
Chloes Smoke N Fame was bred by the Korell Family Trust out of multiple winner KJ Dasher. She has produced 100% winners from four starters, including Northwest Hi-Point Claiming Horse and top money earner Go Melvin Go. Chloes Smoke N Fame is her first stakes winner.
Lana Matt’s Brindis Cruz (Brindis Por Cayenne-GM Check Her Out) finished second under Santiago Jimenez for trainer Jess Matt.
Magster (Brindis Por Cayenne-Rambling Maggie) and Cordarelton Benn were third for owner Walter I. Larson and trainer Jess Matt.
RG Double Trouble (Be Real Quick-Pritzis Diamond Lil), VVR Dont Sugarcoatit (Coronas Velvet-Highheeled La Jolla), Switching Creeks (Conn Creek-RM Switching Chicks), Your Flys Down (Dustin Pro-ER Sexy Mexy), Mercedes AMG (Maknmoves-Sandyton), Heza Mongoose (Heza Blue Rocket-Mongooseseparatehawk) and BDS Kadences Wagon (Wagons West-Fast Hampton TB) completed the order of finish.

DUST STONE

Jim Nebeker’s Dust Stone outran his 8-1 odds to win the $30,750 Wyoming All Breeds Racing Derby at Energy Downs on June 24.
Ridden by Cordarelton Benn for trainer Riley Moosman, Dust Stone broke seventh from the 7-post, but quickly charged towards the front of the field by the first call and grabbed the lead to finish a neck in front.
The pair completed the yards under rainy skies on a muddy track in a hand-timed :18.150.
The $10,762 winner’s share of the purse from first stakes victory increased the gelding’s earnings to $25,627.
Raced exclusively in the Intermountain region, including Utah, Dust Stone has won two of 11 starts, and his resume includes a second-place finish in last year’s $18,500 Sweetwater Downs Wyoming Bred Futurity.
Dust Stone was bred by Nebeker out of winner Dreaming Snow. She has produced 100% money earners from five starters, including winners Makin Snow, Dreaming First Prize and JN First Snow. Dust Stone is her first stakes winner and top money earner.
A Toast To Brindis (Brindis Por Cayenne-A Secret Life) and Uriel Dominguez finished second for owner Gerald F. Kaul and trainer Jesse Villegas.
Pedro Mena’s Tiny Capitana (Captain Courage- Tiny Flyin Levis) ran third under Daniel Carrillo for trainer Josh Taylor.
Foose Dust (Foose-Out Of The Dust) finished fourth and was followed by Switching To 307 (First Prize Stone-RM Switching Chicks), Cente Version (Winners Version-Really Magic TB), Eyesa Special Cucouy (Eyesa Special Slim-Streakin Beddy Bye), Innosent Cat (Red Storm Cat-Not That Innocent) and Darlins Dynasty (JR Dynasty Mountain- Apollos Darlin). A Strawburst was scratched.
Cowboy State Juvenile
MISTER FDD

Mister FDD earned his first stakes win in the $15,000 Cowboy State Juvenile for 2 year olds at Energy Downs on June 23.
Prepped by Jordan Hadley, Mister FDD went 350 yards in :17.357 and posted a career-best 110 speed index under jockey Danny Marshall. The gelding’s winning margin was a 1/2-length from Mommas Dynasty, and he banked the $6,000 win- ner’s share of the $15,000 purse.
Raced exclusively in the Intermountain region, Mister FDD has now won three of five starts and has banked $12,383 for owner Tony Greaves. His resume includes a fourth-place finish in the $77,255 Hadley/Giles Memorial Futurity at Weber Downs on May 19.
Mister FDD is the first starter produced by Feature Miss Alibi, a homebred who won the 2013 AQHA Sun Downs Distaff Challenge. His second dam, the late Alibi Fame, was a winner who ran second in the 2002 Elko County Derby and was a finalist in the 2001 Utah Classic Futurity-RG1 at Laurel Brown Racetrack.
Mommas Dynasty (FDD Dynasty-Bye Sweet Girl) and Uriel Dominguez finished second for owners Edward J. & Von Zae McNelis and trainer Jordan Hadley.
Aron Saenz’s One Dashing Dream (One Dashing Eagle-Coronas Dreamgirl) ran third under Oscar Cervantes for trainer Diana Garfias.
Sheebe A Banshee (Sir Runaway Dash-Sheebe A Blazin) finished fourth and was followed by Moonturner (First Moonflash-Lady Telia), Wavin A Corona (Coronas Fast Dash-Little Brain Wave), Tiny Flyin Moves (Maknmoves-Tiny Flyin Levis), Kay Cross Conman (Volcom-Kay Cross Kylie), Sixteen Coronas (Stel Corona-Sixteen Kisses) and Diamond Of Coronado (Coronado Cartel-Ms Diamond Runaway).
