This classic was held in honor of the guild organization of breeders and horse own-
ers of the fastest racing equine breed on the planet, with only seven three year olds running the 400 yards. With the nomination fee paid by the owners and the contribution of the Administradora Mexicana de Hipodromo, a final purse amount of $314,700 pesos (Approx. $15,971 US dollars) was up for grabs.
One Danny, Azoomin Jamie, Gulf Coast Streaker and SE Secret Perry, were the names that caught the attention of the public at the betting windows.
At the start, One Danny and Runaway For First stumbled, but soon recovered and started on their way. One Danny moved slightly to
the center of the track, but then continued his race with a firm and steady step, sticking to the inner rail where he stayed the whole route until crossing the finish line a neck over Gulf Coast Streaker, who in the final yards displayed a powerful approach towards the leader, but was unable to dominate him.
José Ángel Ambrosio Medina led the sorrel colt to his eighth victory in a brief :19.29 for a 103 speed index, the best in his racing career that consists of 12 starts on this stage. As a two year old, One Danny scored the Juvenile Championship in Dec. 2017, also at 400 yards and under rider Eddi Cuéllar.
The son of One Dashing Eagle out of Corona Crystal was raised by La Presita LLC/ LJM Ranch Inc. and is owned by Rancho El Suspiro and trained by José Guadalupe García “Lupillo,” who was represented by trainer Gerardo Rafael Galán Pérez.
For this victory, he won $188,820 pesos (approx. $9,583 US dollars) to total career earnings of more than $1.4 million pesos.
The black colt Gulf Coast Streaker (Rock Solid Jess–Ladys Streaker) finished in second place under José Manuel Cisneros for owner Cuadra Díaz de León and trainer Epifanio Carrasco Sandoval.
The colt Senator OE (Louisiana Senator– Overeasy Annie) finished third under the command of Juan Carlos Alvarado Romo. He is owned by Cuadra Garañones and trained by Hernán Misael Romo Anaya.
The other finalists concluded in the fol- lowing order: Azoomin Jamie (Ivory James– Azoomin With Jessie), Runaway For First (Dominyun–Tiny First Down), SE Secret Perry (No Secrets Here – Miss Sweetie Perry) and SF Shoots Flyer (Frankie Shoots–Three Way Flyer).

One Danny, Azoomin Jamie, Gulf Coast Streaker y SE Secret Perry, fueron los nombres que acapararon la atención del público en las ventanillas de apuesta, tomando en cuenta los antecedentes deportivos de cada uno.
En la partida, One Danny (1) y Runaway For First (2) tropezaron, pero pronto se repu- sieron y emprendieron su camino. El primero
se abrió ligeramente al centro de la pista, pero enseguida enfiló su carrera con paso firme y sostenido pegado al riel interior, donde se man- tuvo toda la ruta hasta cruzar la meta por cuello de diferencia sobre Gulf Coast Streaker (6), que en las yardas finales se mostró poderoso acer- cándose al puntero, pero sin lograr dominarlo.
José Ángel Ambrosio Medina condujo al potro alazán a su octava victoria en breves 19.29 segundos, para un SI de 103, el mejor en su trayectoria que consta de 12 salidas a escena. Como dos añero, se acreditó en Diciembre de 2017 el Campeonato Juvenil, también en 400
yardas y bajo la dirección del jinete Eddi Cuéllar.

El Suspiro, recibiendo la preparación deportiva de José Guadalupe García “Lupillo”, que en sus compromiso oficiales es representado por el entrenador Gerardo Rafael Galán Pérez.
Por este acierto obtuvo ganancias de $188,820 pesos ($9,583 US aproximadamente) para totalizar más de 1.4 millones de pesos.
Ganador de los clásicos Challenge Juvenile de México, Jodys Glory, Futurity Mexicano y Campeonato Nacional Día del Charro, el potro negro Gulf Coast Streaker (Rock Solid Jess
– Ladys Streaker) finalizó en segundo lugar, baja la guía de José Manuel Cisneros, para la Cuadra Díaz de León y el entrenador Epifanio Carrasco Sandoval.
El potro Senator OE (Louisiana Senator
– Overeasy Annie), aprovechó muy bien su posición por la extrema derecha de la pista, bajo el mando de Juan Carlos Alvarado Romo. Es propiedad de la Cuadra Garañones y entrenado por Hernán Misael Romo Anaya.
