SIGN OF CORONA

Sign Of Corona made history while adding to his already impressive record in stakes company. The 6-year-old gelding notched his 6th career stakes win in the $40,000 Bank of America Pocatello Downs Championship Challenge on May 29, and set the 440-yard track record in the process.
Sign Of Corona won his May 14 trial wire-to-wire for the 3rd-quickest time. There was no catching him in the finals. He led at every call to post a 1 1/4-length margin of victory. Mark Hanson trains Sign Of Corona & Eddie Aceves was up. Hanson & Aceves combined for 3 stakes wins on the card. The 4th track record in his career, Sign Of Corona posted a :21.124 for a career high 122 speed index. This was just the latest 440 record to fall during the 2017 Challenge at Pocatello. Sign Of Corona ran :21.175 in his trial, breaking a 35-year record. Later during qualifying, Time For Jesse Lee surpassed it, posting a :21.132 effort.
Owners RTM Stables LLC & Carol McKinney banked a $18,400 payday to push Sign Of Corona’s earnings to $118,253. With 8 wins in 16 starts, the geld- ing secured a spot in the $330,000 Bank Of America Challenge Championship-G1. Greg Creager bred Sign Of Corona, the top earner out of 2-time winner Electric Sign, dam of 100% money earners from 2 starters.
RTM Stables LLC also owns & Hanson trains RTM Mr Caccia (No Secrets Here-Shirleys Secret), 2nd under Uriel Dominguez. WAGONFULLOFDIVIDENDS

The racing career of Wagonfullofdividends is off
to a dominant start. After breaking his maiden
by winning his trial for the Rocky Mountain Spring Classic Futurity by a commanding wire-to-wire 3 1/4-lengths on May 14, the rookie gelding came back and won the $30,000 stakes finals by an impressive 2-lengths at Pocatello Downs on May 29.
Wagonfullofdividends broke on top from
the 7-gate and increased his lead to 1-length at
first call. The bay colt finished 2-lengths on
top in :16.652. The clocking posted a blistering
110 speed index. Eddie Aceves was in the irons. Owned by RTM Stables LLC and Shauna Dunn, Wagonfullofdividends earned $13,800 for this win.
Mark Hanson trains the bay colt, who posted
the 2nd-quickest qualifying time. He ran his trial in similar fashion to his stakes win, steadily incread-
ing his lead and finishing that event with a 3 3/4-length margin. Randy and Sandy Coleman bred Wagonfullofdividends and own his dam, stakes placed winner Ms Athenas Dividend. The mare was 2nd in the 2010 Lone Star Distaff Challenge and was a finalist in both the 2009 Remington Park Futurity-G1 and the 2009 Texas Classic Futurity-G1. Wagonfullofdividends is her first starter from three foals.
Royallittlewagon (Paintyourownwagon-Royal Lil Strike) was second for owner Enrico Rozo and trainer Skyler Greene. Jockey Jesus Osuna was up. Greg Torgerson’s PCR Mad Version (Winners Version- Classy Sassy Anna) hit the board in third place.
The Jere Brinkerhoff trainee had Jesus Canales in
the irons. Followed by Acadillac (Azoom-Louisiana Cadillac), Dashair Special (Dashair-Special Truth), fastest qualifier Miss Czech (Ragazzo-Czech Royal Camilla), Ms Southern Charm (Mr Corona Cash- Especially Wicked) and Candy Secret (No Secrets Here-Jess A Candy Gal). Trial winner Classic Pearl BC and Will He Be Quick were scratched.

WH Design By Dash makes a habit of contest- ing the Born Runner Classic Stakes at Indiana Grand Race Course. The 6-year-old gelding has com- peted in the event the past four years, and has now won twice, with one second and a fourth place finish.
Ridden by Oscar Macias, WH Design By Dash broke in seventh, but quickly put himself into contention. The gelding dueled with Heza Beach Bum and The Carter Concept for most of the 400 yards, and then pulled away to win by 3/4-length in :19.913.
Paul Martin trains WH Design By Dash for his wife Julia Rae Martin. WH Design By Dash also won the 2015 Leader of the Class Stakes and has placed in nine additional stakes events.
Greg Morrison bred WH Design By Dash in Indiana out of Fast Mans Dash. She has produced 100% money earners from eight starters, includ-
ing stakes winner WH Johnnie Boy Red. Central Hi-Point 3-Year-OldGelding/Central Hi-Point Aged Gelding WH Design By Dash is her top earner.
Heza Beach Bum (Escondido Beach-Light My Cigar) finished second under Rolando Pina for owner Patrice Warner and trainer Joe Davis.
Sue Belden’s homebred The Cartel Concept (Escondido Beach-One Grand Concept) ran third. Giovani Vazquez-Gomez rode the gelding for trainer Tim Eggleston.
Completing the field were Beach Cartel (Escondido Beach-Flashin Dee Dee), Beach Birde (Escondido Beach-Jess Alive Bully), Heisasheis (Chilled Corona-Sheisassheis), Dixie Cup Lou (La Jollaroid-Shes So Gaudy), Beach Bum Eddie (Escondido Beach-Carman Copy), Coco Beach (Escondido Beach-Flashin Dee Dee), and Dna Dales Quick Cat (Quick Action-TB-Chrystal Dale). RC Sizzling Tyme and Shesafirstdynastia were scratched.
