ADASHINROSE

Adashinrose sat out her two year old season of competition, but she’s making up for it in 2015. The filly tallied her first stakes victory in the $25,000 John Deere Stakes at Lone Star Park on Nov. 6.
Mike and Bobby Briscoe own Adashinrose, who collected her second win in three career starts. She boosted her cumulative earnings to $15,452, with the Briscoes collecting an $11,500 payday from this event.
Cindi Keeton trains Adashinrose, who broke on top from the outside starting position in the 10-race field. The filly led at every call of the 400-yard race, opening a 1/2-length lead at the first call and maintaining it going into the stretch reaching the wire first by a head.
Oscar Hernandez was aboard for the stakes-winning trip, which was completed in :19.727 for a 93 speed index.
Bobby Briscoe also bred Adashinrose and owns
her dam, Pats Special Rose. The unraced mare has
foaled three offspring, two of whom have made starts. Adashinrose becomes the first stakes winner in the brood.
Wild Sixes Cartel (Corona Cartel-Wild Six) came in second with L. Salvador Martinez aboard for own- ers Lisa Beauprez, Thomas Bradbury and Thomas Bradbury Jr. Paul Jones trains the colt. Trained by Mike Robbins, Tempting Valor (Tempting Dash- Thanks Jens) hit the board in third place under Jose Alvarez for owners Matt Ratliff and Vicki Tebow.

KISS THE TEARS AWAY

Aone-time $7,500 claimer, Kiss The Tears Away was a prompt even-money favorite in the $25,000 AQHA Members Plus Stakes for fillies and mares at Lone Star Park on Nov. 6.
Oscar Hernandez rode Kiss The Tears Away for owners Mike & Bobby G. Briscoe and trainer Cindi Keeton. The homebred 4-year-old filly went 400 yards in :19.755 on a fast track under showery skies.
The AQHA Members Plus Stakes marked Kiss The Tears Away’s first win against non-claiming company. All told, she has won 4 of 11 races, and the $11,750 winner’s share pushed her bankroll to $37,255, of which $32,495 has been earned this season.
Kiss The Tears Away was coming off of a fourth- place finish in the 400-yard $30,000 Merial Lone Star Distaff Challenge on Oct. 3.
Kiss The Tears Away’s dam, Dash For Snow, is a winning mare and has foaled five winners from as many starters.
Mary Me Anna (Game Patriot-Romancing Mary), ran second, 1 1/4-lengths behind the winner. Damian Martinez rode the 4-year-old filly for owner Kristen Ashley Paredes and trainer Josue Ponce.
Aunti Up (Ivory James-First To Celebrate) finished third, for owners Margaret F. White and Kelly Rose. The 4-year-old filly was prepped by Jesse Yoakum, who gave a leg up to jockey Jerry Lee Yoakum.
Time For Wine (Mr Jess Perry-Fine Wines), Thrill Me Baby (Mr Jess Perry-The Creole Queen), Twntyfour Karat Rock (Rock Solid Jess-Sultry Miss), Million Dollar Kiss (Jess Louisiana Blue-Stoli Kiss), Invisible Wagon (Pyc Paint Your Wagon-A Troffe For Injun), and Miss Country Chicks (Country Chicks Man-Legacys Echo) completed the order of finish.
Markel Stakes
IMA DASHING GATOR

Ima Dashing Gator dashed her way into black type on Nov. 6, winning the $25,000 Markel Stakes for two year olds at Lone Star Park. The rookie filly col-
lected her first stakes victory, reaching the winner’s circle for the third time in six career outs.
Owned by Bobby Cox, Ima Dashing Gator came into this race as a 10-1 longshot but won by daylight. The filly broke from the 6-hole in the middle of the pack, but was running a close second as then-leader Prissy Cartel entered the stretch. With Russel Hadley steering the way, Ima Dashing Gator chased down her competitor and reached the finish line first by a 1-length margin.
Cox collected an $11,500 payday that improved the filly’s total bankroll to $26,124. John Buchanan trains Ima Dashing Gator, who finished the 350- yard event in :17.585, clocking a 94 speed index.
J.L. Gladwell, III bred Ima Dashing Gator and owns her dam, Sweet N Salty TB who is lightly- raced herself. Ima Dashing Gator becomes the first stakes winner out of the mare.
Pure D Rocket out-nodded My Streakin La Jolla (Tempting Dash-Prissy La Jolla) to place second. Daniel Henry and Ashley Aguilar own Pure D Rocket (First Wrangler-Pure D Annie), a Lance Moore trainee who had Eleazar Guillen aboard. My Streakin La
Jolla finished third for owner Melvin Neugebauer and trainer Wesley Giles. Adrian Ramos did the riding.
