Red Headed Beach ran her name into
the record books on Oct. 28. Pattie Marshall’s 2-year-old daughter of Escondido
Beach extended her winning streak to six with a determined victory in the $204,600 Miss Roxie Little Futurity at Horseshoe Indianapolis and now holds the record for the most money ever earned for an Indiana-bred Quarter Horse in one season. The $112,530 winner’s share of the lucrative purse increased her earnings total to more than $365,000. With the win, she also joins Beach Cartel and Beach Treat for the most wins in one season with six and ties Pistolpacking Pepsi, Beach Treat and Valiantinecandyrocks for most stakes wins (3) in one season.
“This is unreal,” owner Pattie Marshall shared after the race. “She’s a freak of nature. You always watch this happen to other people, but you never think it will happen to you. Brad (Pattie’s husband) bought this mare in foal. We foaled her out with Keli (Eggleston) and then
