Trainer Tim Eggleston said of his
charge’s win, “We have been really blessed with two special horses this year. Her and a Thoroughbred we had that we had a tragic accident with. I don’t get choked up too often, but I guess it’s time. She has been an amazing part of our team.”
Runner-up Jess Takin On Cash (Jess Zoomin-JA Red River Rose) attended the pace early and held the place spot under Berkley Packer.
The sorrel gelding is owned by Gregg Farris and is also trained by Eggleston. The $7,000 QHRAI Stallion Service Auction sale graduate was bred in Indiana by Mark and Teresa Myers.
