Horseshoe Indianapolis Stakes
PRIDDY FABULOUS

Making his fourth career start, Priddy Fabulous visited the winner’s circle for the first time in proving much the best against seven rivals in the $33,320
Overnight Stakes at Horseshoe Indianapolis on Aug. 3. Ridden by jockey Oscar Macias, Priddy Fabulous
flashed speed early in the 350-yard dash. He took command in the lane and surged clear of his foes late to score by a dominant 2-lengths. He stopped the timer in a fast :17.827 and earned a 91 speed index for trainer Ron Raper, who also sent out runner-up Dance Hawl Gal, the race favorite.
A homebred for Roger Lewis, Priddy Fabulous improved his record to 4-1-0-1 and the $18,700 winner’s share of the purse hiked his earnings total to $24,670. A finalist for the Jaguar Rocket Futurity on July 22, the sorrel gelding finished fifth in that race at Horseshoe Indianapolis after finishing third in
his trial. Bred in Indiana, Priddy Fabulous is out of the Rock Solid Jess mare My Girls Rock, a two-time winner in her racing career for Lewis.
Dance Hawl Gal (Duponte-Jess a Coronas Heart), ridden by Rolando Pina, chased the winner home gamely but was no match in the late stages. Also trained by Raper, Dance Hawl Gal is owned by Jose Luiz Velasquez and is a two-time winner from seven lifetime starts. Bobby Cox bred the sorrel filly in Texas, and she is a $10,000 TQHA Yearling Sale graduate.
Indiana-bred Sweeet Caroline (Jess Good Candy- Miss Scarlet) and jockey Luz Martinez finished third for owner/breeder Carolyn Bruce and trainer Anthony Cunningham. The gray filly has hit the board in three of five starts while still in search of her initial victory.
Mocha Corona (Corona Cartel-Sizzlin Sass), Lethal Wagon (PYC Paint Your Wagon-Lethal Toll), Man of the Cartel (Valiant Hero-Cartel Chica),
MC Blanes Frost (Universal Pride-Last Tupelo Baby), and Themagicdragonlady (Dragon Hunter- Magic Easy Chic) completed the order of finish.
Cherry Creek Futurity
SIX GOOD KICKS

After a beautiful wire-to-wire run in her trial, Six Good Kicks pulled off a very similar
run to win the $94,160 Cherry Creek Futurity at Arapahoe Park on August 6. Under jockey Daniel Torres, the filly sprinted down the track, proving herself the obvious best. She finished ahead by a full length and covered the 350 yards in :18.118 for a speed index of 85.
Six Good Kicks took home a winnings of $37,664 for owner George Seward and trainer Shawna Manriquez. Her career earnings now sit at $43,500.
The filly was bred by owner George Seward and Jose Flores. She is the leading progeny out of stakes winning dam Kickin Seis.
La Coronel (Professor Champ-Moonflash Glory) and jockey Adrian Morales gave strong effort and held second through the stretch and over the wire. The filly is bred and owned by Joel Banuelos and trained by Jose Nava Arjon.
Seated by jockey Martin Lazalde, Biancas Flare (Flare For Ivory-Shinning Bianca) made
a late kick that bumped her into third in the stretch, and she held her position to finish.
The filly is bred and owned by Hugo Barron- Sierra and trained by Jose Manuel Barron. She placed third in the Rocky Mountain Futurity at Arapahoe Park on July 9.

To Divulge-My Sweet Rapid), Ps Miss Daisy (Barrett Militia-Rare Pizazz), Separtist Kicker (Dash Kicker-Lovin M Leave M), A Beautiful Flare (Flare For Ivory-A Beautiful Flame), Liebrita (Indomable Cartel-Shes a Rocket Hero), Crystal N Diamond (Docs Best Card-Disaronno N Smoke).
El Capitan Lew, El Frenito, Interest in Ur Eyes, Little Wagon, and Stolindream were all scratched.
Lucille Rowe Derby
DIABOLICAL CLYDE

Against all odds, Diabolical Clyde gave a strong drive up the field to take home the win in
the $49,450 Lucille Rowe Derby at Arapahoe Park on August 6. Under the guiding hand of jockey Valente Vorrath, the colt pushed up the field, claiming one place after another, and ultimately finishing in first by 1/2 a length. The colt breezed the 350 yards in :17.887 for a speed index of 91.
Diabolical Clyde secured himself a winnings
of $19,780 for breeder and owner Dana Yoshida- Orozco and trainer Alexander Orozco. The colt has placed in the money every out of his career thus far and currently holds a bankroll of $28,730.
The sorrel colt is the first winning starter out of Thoroughbred dam Babe’s Bonnie Babe.
Race favorite, Country Rocket Foose (Foose- Wess Country Chick) and jockey Cordarelton Benn gave a late surge for place. The brown colt is bred and owned by Jose Pena and is trained
by Uriel Delgado. Country Rocket Foose placed third in the Cherry Creek Futurity at Arapahoe Park last August.
Seated by jockey Ramiro Garcia, Kiss For Money (Kiss My Hocks-Benefactress) snagged the early start but drifted out and lost the lead. The gelding fought hard and placed third by a head. He is owned by Larua Celene Mendoza and trained by Chris Gandarilla.
