Junos Request Stakes-G2
TIME FOR WINE

Two consecutive stakes wins may be cause enough to uncork a bottle in celebration for Time For Wine as she sprinted to her fourth stakes win in the $100,000 Junos Request Stakes-G2 at Remington Park on June 3.
The 5-year-old mare has hit her stride winning her last three at Remington. Under James Flores, Time For Wine broke from the 6-post mid-pack and gained ground approaching the stretch, where the finely aged mare showed her quality. She surged past rivals and finished 1⁄2-length ahead at the wire with an extremely strong finish. She galloped down the 400- yard fast track in :19.580, earning a 95 speed index.
Time For Wine took home the $59,730 winner’s share of the purse for owner Pete A. Scarmardo
and trainer John Weghorst, boosting her lifetime earnings to $185,953. Her record is now 20-7(4)- 1(1)-4(1) with wins in this year’s Remington Distaff Challenge-G3 and in the 2016 AQHA Distaff Challenge Championship-G1 and Sam Houston Distaff Challenge.
Vessels Stallion Farm LLC bred Texas Hi-Point Three-Year-Old Filly Time For Wine out of grade 2 finalist Fine Wines. She has produced 100% money earners from seven starters, including Grade 3 winner Onemoreglassofwine. Time For Wine is her top earner.
Miss Feet Down First (Dominyun-Feet Down First) finished second under Oscar Cordova for owner Esequiel Porras and trainer Ruben Soto. Bye Bye Birdy (Hawkinson-Sweet Bye and Bye) finished third under Daniel Torres for owner Barbara Barley and trainer Larry Sharp. Followed by Phoebesdynasty (FDD Dynasty-My Special Phoebe), Jess Envision (Apollitical Jess-Answer The Dream), Memphis D Nasty (FDD Dynasty-Jess A Cartel), Blacks Cartel (Streakin Six Cartel-Brandi Whiz), Unfinished Biz (Captain Courage-Big Bizooms), Miss Aguilar (Tres Seis-First Dashin Bye), and PYCs Little Lady (PYC Paint Your Wagon-Fitness Lady).

JESS A HILBILY BONE

Jess A Hilbily Bone secured his second stakes victory in the $50,558 Grade 2 Remington Park Distance Championship on June 3.
Favored at 2-1 and ridden by Benito Baca, Jess A Hilbily Bone broke well from the 3-post and settled
in for the 870-yard race. As they came out of the turn, the 6-year-old brown gelding Bone made a dramatic rally up the rail. He was a length behind in second as they came down the stretch, and he slipped through his rivals to finish 1 1/4-lengths on top in :45.303, posting a 98 speed index. The pair had just come off of an assertive 5 1/2-length victory in a May 6 claiming race. Jess A Hilbily Bone took home the $29,838 winner’s share of the purse, boosting his lifetime earnings to $119,611. Prior to this victory, he won the 2015 Bobby Dan Crenshaw Memorial Stakes at Ruidoso Downs. He also finished 2nd in the 2017 Bobby Dan Crenshaw Memorial and third in both the 2015 Remington Distance Challenge-G3 and 2017 Paul’s Valley Handicap-G3.
Owner Rockin J Running Horses bred Jess A Hilbily Bone in Texas out of their homebred 2-time winner Imaginiff. The mare has produced 100% winners from three starters. Jess A Hilbily Bone is her first stakes winner and top earner.
Eyesa Shoofly Dandy (Gold Medal Jess-Miss Sound Viking) broke on top, but was unable to
hold on to the lead at the wire and finished second for trainer Judd Kearl. Donell Blake was aboard
for owners Curtis Smith and Steve Holt. Admiral Zoomwalt (Shazoom-Tellin It All) came in third
for owner Juston Lee Robinson and trainer John Weghorst. James Flores was in the irons. Give It To Shaq (Afrashad-Brittany Dale), Cjs Rocksolid (Rock Solid Jess-Sultry Miss), Mixed Fantasy (Okey Dokey Fantasy-Mixin Sixin), Silver Citizen (Silver City-Red Alarm), Executive Trust (Executive Menace-Entrust) completed the order of finish.

CLOUD RIDGE

Cloud Ridge, a homebred bay gelding cam- paigned by Randy J. Davis of Vinita, Oklahoma, sprinted to a 1/2-length victory in the
$50,000 Easy Jet Stakes-RG3 for state-bred juveniles at Remington Park on June 3.
Saddled by Stacey Capps, Cloud Ridge finished the 350 yards in :17.538 under jockey Berkley Packer for an 88 speed index. The $29,730 winner’s share of the purse bumped his earnings to $42,148.
Raced exclusively in Oklahoma, Cloud Ridge has won two of his three outs, scoring a Graded stakes victory in just his third start.
He began his career with a second-place finish in a 300-yard maiden-special-weight dash on April 2. He then broke his maiden with a head victory in a 350-yard Heritage Place Futurity-G1 trial on May 12, but did not qualify.
Cloud Ridge out of 2-time winner Snow Clouds. The mare is a 100% winner/ROM producer from five starters. Cloud Ridge is her first stakes winner and top earner.
Apollitical Wagon (Apollitical Jess-Wagon Her Tail) finished second for owners Georgina Chavira and Rito R. Sosa. Mario Delgado rode the homebred brown gelding for trainer Luz Chavira.
Justin Lee Robinson’s Political Attraction (Apollitical Jess-Gunsight Peak) was gaining on the end and finished third. James Flores rode the sorrel gelding for trainer John Weghorst.
High Friday (High Rate Of Return-High
On Friday) finished fourth and was followed by Unconquerable (High Rate Of Return-Fleeting Touch), Jess Painted Sign (Mr Jess Perry-First Painted Sign), Mr Eye Opening Task (Mr Eye Opener-Ivory Task), BV Sugar Daddy (One Dashing Eagle-Corona Cayenne), One Jazz (One Sweet Jess- Baja Jazz) and Peves Candy Chickman (Country Chicks Man-Stone Eyed Candy).
