Jaime Martinez owns runner-up Beeline Dash (Tempting Dash-Night Lines), who
is trained by Gustavo Rios and had Ramiro Garcia in the irons for this event. Beeline Dash had won his two prior starts - a maiden race and his trial to the Mile High Futurity, in which he went wire-to-wire
for the second fastest qualifying time. Victorious Cartel finished second to Beeline Dash in the trials.
Coronado Star (Coronado Cartel- Summer Star) hit the board in third place for owner Bruno Guerrero-Espinoza. Jockey Armando Ramirez had the riding call and Hipolito Michel-Valverde did the train-
ing. Coronado Star broke his maiden in
his second start and finished second in his Mile High Futurity trial for the fifth fastest qualifying time.
La Reina Madre (Apollitical Jess- Madresita) finished in fourth position and was followed by VF First Brave Stan (First Prize Stanley-Brava Brava), Legendary Find (The Noble Legend-TR Finder), fastest qual- ifier Winn It (Coronado Cartel-Winning Merlot), Corona Kicker (Dash Kicker-La Reina Corona), Intocable Cartel (Coronado Cartel-Tahiti Wave) and Paint Can (Second Painted Sign-Just Like Bully).
