Oneida County Futurity
MAXIMO II

Maximo II recorded his second stakes victory in the $18,200 Oneida County Futurity on Aug. 11.
Jose Torres and Maximo II shot from the 3-post on top in the 300 yard contest. The gelding dueled with Orange Vodka Shooter and was briefly headed, but proved best when he crossed the wire a neck in front of the field.
They completed the sprint in :15.306 running into a 5mph cross wind, posting a 95 speed index.
Maximo II brought home the $11,610 winner’s share of the purse for owner/trainer Uriel L. Arreola, boosting his cumulative earnings to $19,082.
Raced exclusively in Idaho, Maximo II won the Rupert Downs Futurity earlier this year. He was also a finalist in the Bitterroot Futurity.
Vicente Treyes Valencia bred Maximo II out of winner Race To Riches. She has produced 100% money earners from six starters, including winner El Bucanasczech, who was a finalist in the Treyes Calf Ranch Stakes at Jerome County Fair earlier this year.
With Raphael Romero in the irons, Orange Vodka Shooter (Triple Vodka-Lil Orange Scooter) was second for owners Cinda and Rod Thomas. Dabid Romero did the training. The filly previ- ously finished third in the Prineville Quarter Horse Futurity earlier this year at Crooked River Roundup.
GG Friendship (Turbulent Times-Stolen Ivory) and jockey Nick Newbold came in third for owner Lonna Gerstner and trainer Kyle Dahlke.
Shacks Desire (Saint Shackleton-Dee Zired), Brilliant Cut Cartel (Coronado Cartel-Azoom Diamond), Tell Him Twice Jr (Tell Him Twice-DH Misty Effort), Curls Are Kool (Kool Wagon-Sassy Spit Curl) and Meghans Feature Sign (Second Painted Sign-PT Feature Dash) completed the order of finish.

ROB THAT WAGON

Successful stakes winner Rob That Wagon tallied his third stakes win in the $18,200 Oneida County Derby at Oneida County Fair on Aug. 11 in Malad, Idaho.
Running for owners Robin Dunn and RTM Stables LLC, the brown gelding broke in second from the two-post and dueled throughout with Foose Secret.
Under the guidance of jockey Cody Wainscott, Rob That Wagon was able to grab the lead in the stretch, and crossed the finish line a head in front of his rivals.
Rob That Wagon and Wainscott completed the 300 yard stakes event in :15.395, which was good for a 92 speed index.
Rob That Wagon qualified to the Oneida County Derby in the Aug. 4 trials in which he went wire-to-wire, winning by 3/4-lengths and setting the fastest qualifying time.
Trained by Mark Hanson, the gelding deposited the $8,190 winner’s share of the Oneida County Derby purse, boosting his total lifetime earnings
to $97,523. Rob That Wagon’s race record is now 8(4)-4(2)-0 from 13 career starts.
Raced exclusively in Idaho, Rob That Wagon’s previous stakes victories come from last year’s Oneida County Futurity, Bitterroot Futurity and Sandy Downs Juvenile Challenge. The gelding was also second in the Bitterroot Derby and AQHA Pocatello Derby Challenge this year.
Bob and Jerry Gaston bred Rob That Wagon out of winner First Tea Rose, who was a final-
ist in the Sam Houston Futurity-G1 and in the Firecracker Futurity-G2. The mare has produced 100% money earners from eight starters, includ- ing top earner Rock That Wagon, winner of the Simulcast Services Stakes and Dash For Speed Bonus Challenge Stakes. Rob That Wagon is the second stakes winner in the brood.
Foose Secret (Foose-Beauty Secrets) was second under Raphael Romero for owner Jorge Murillo and trainer Farrol Cunningham.
Adrian Aleman’s Look Secret (We Have A Secret-Righteous Look) was third under Jesus Virgen for trainer Ricardo Castillo.
Pickle Dilly (The Louisiana Cartel-Dilligass), Sweetheart Sammie (Inseperable-My Sweet Sammie), Kis My Bit (One Famous Eagle-Bits Of Bliss), RF Shades Gonna Dash (Stel Corona-Shirley Gonna Dash) and Hes Never Telling (No Secrets Here- Special Phoebe) completed the order of finish.
Ontario Sires Stakes Derby
SHAKE IT TWICE

Chantelle Bourgeois’ homebred Shake It Twice did not disappoint in the $42,563 Ontario Sires Stakes Derby at Ajax Downs on Aug.11, streak-
ing to her third consecutive victory and first stakes score.
Ridden by regular jockey Cory Spataro, Shake
It Twice broke sharply and enjoyed a clean trip throughout. She raced in third position early, col- lared early leader Perryfunnysteven in the lane and defeated stablemate Momsextravagantheart by a head at the finish. Shake It Twice completed the 350 yards in :17.940, earning a speed index of 89. In addition to being the breeder and the owner of the Ontario- bred winner, Bourgeois is also the filly’s trainer.
All told, it was the fourth win from eight starts for Shake It Twice. The $17,025 winner’s share of the purse increased the sorrel filly’s bankroll to $48,937. Shake It Twice finished third in last year’s Ontario Sires Stakes Futurity.
Bourgeois bred Shake It Twice out of winner Shake Pretty Baby. She has produced 100% money earners from two starters. Shake It Twice is her first stakes winner.
Momsextravagantheart (Look At Magics Form- Extravagant Moves) finished second. Bourgeois is also the owner/trainer of the gelding.
Perryfunnysteven (Sugarman Perry-Go Smashing Baby) and Brian Bell held third after leading early for owner Christine Tavares and trainer Joe Tavares.
Usain Colt (Star Fire Dash-Magic Ta Fame), Queens Award (Winners Award-Copper State Queen), A Fancy Arrangement (Sugarman Perry- Jesshazoom), Carlos The Second (Winners Award- Chitchatin Okie), Tres On Fire (Fire Finder-Quick Six Lady), and Bodacious Miracles (Bodacious Jess- Make Us A Miracle) completed the order of finish. Legacy Of The Moon was scratched.
