  Here is how she remembers Rev. “He was great and how I found him, this girl had just gone to playdays
with him and hadn’t done much with him. But her brother brought him to the Junior World and in the first out he won the go round – ran one of the fastest times ever. I tried to buy him that weekend. They wouldn’t sell him but they came back the next year and he hit a barrel. So I got to buy him, and he was one of the greatest horses
I ever rode. It didn’t matter big pens, little pens it seemed he broke the arena record every time I rode him. He was very automatic.”
The pedigree of Mr Revolution Bar is another example of racehorse speed on foundation Quarter Horse blood. His sire was St Bar, a race winner and
a stakes finalist in the Del Rio Spring Futurity, the Moon Deck Stakes and the Sunland QH Derby. He sired horses that earned $4,675,287 with 548 starters with 327 ROM with 27 stakes winners. He sired such Champions as Vespero and Little Blue Sheep.
St Bar was sired by Three Bars, and he was out of Bella St Mary by Spotted Bull. Spotted Bull was sired by Bull
Dog by Teddy. Spotted Bull was out of Spotted Beauty by Man O’War. The dam of Mr Revolution Bar was Balmette by Texas Balmy by Balmy L by a Thoroughbred named Maynard L. The dam of Balmy L was a daughter of Little Joe by Traveler, and Little Joe was out
of Jenny by Sykes Rondo. The dam of Balmette was Georgie F by the AQHA foundation sire Cowboy P-12, a son of Yellow Jacket and Cowboy P-12 was
out of Roan Lady a double bred John Wilkens mare. Shirley Kirk was the dam of Georgie F, and she was sired by Jack Dempsey, a running Quarter Horse.

The dam of Swen Sir Bug was Reveille Hopeful by Swen Sir 45 by Jim Nail, and Reveille Hopeful was out of Fair Blake and she was sired by Reveille Sawyer by Balmy L. The dam of Fair Blake was Fi Fi Sawyer by One Eyed Jazz by Jazz.

Mr Revolution Bar carried Martha to the 1989 and 1990 NFR. The qualifying for the 1990 NFR set a record – Martha had made the
finals in four consecutive decades. From the 1960’s to 1990 she had made the finals ten times over those years. They also won the 1990 All American Quarter Horse Congress Senior
Barrel Racing.
