Dash For Speed Stakes

CTwister Seis captured her first stakes victory in the $25,000 Dash For Speed Stakes at Ruidoso Downs on June 2.
The filly bobbled at the start, breaking in fifth from the outside 10-gate. Felipe Garcia-Luna rode C Twister Seis like he knew he was going win from the start.
They completed the 350 yards in :17.470, posting a career-high 96 speed index.
C Twister Seis brought home the $15,000 win- ner’s share of the purse for owner/breeder Randy Smith and trainer Michael Joiner, boosting her total lifetime earnings to $147,400.
Raced in New Mexico and Oklahoma, she has won or placed in 12 races from 17 starts, including third the 2017 Mr Jess Perry Derby. Most recently, she was a finalist in the Decketta Stakes-G3 that ran in March at Remington Park.
Randy Smith bred C Twister Seis out of lightly raced D E Bella Vita. She has produced 100% money/ROM earners from three starters. C Twister Seis is her first stakes winner and top money earner.
Carris Cartel (The Louisiana Cartel-Shesa Wicked Gypsy) finished second under Santos Carrizales for owner Nancy Carrizales and trainer Marcos Carrizales.
American Girl Rocks (American Runaway-Rock N Zoom) ran a steady and even race under Sergio Becerra Jr. to capture third place for owner Armando Diaz Jr. and trainer Jesse E. Ramos.
Followed by Stella Lou (One Famous Eagle- Better Be Diamonds), Rvaliant Chick (Valiant Hero-Rdustys Chick), Sinsational Tacha (Tempting Dash-Miss Sin Tacha), Ms Fast Prize Tracy (Captain Courage-Fast Prize Tracy), Day Drink In (FDD Dynasty-Watchin The Rain), Desire Astoli (Desirio-Stoli Victory) and Denim Wizzard (First Moonflash-Domeinitchy TB).
