ONE FLYIN FOOSE
by Michael Compton
One Flyin Foose flew to her third consecutive win and second stakes score with a fast-clos- ing victory in the $24,350 Baxter Andruss Oregon
Bred Futurity at Grants Pass on Nov. 3. Ridden by jockey Jaime Lopez, One Flyin
Foose broke near the back of the pack and raced in third position early in the 400-yard contest. After angling out for clear sailing, the bay filly rallied strongly in the lane and ran down One Famous Disco Man and jockey Mckenzie King to score by a nose at the finish.
Saddled by trainer Freddy Ibarra, One Flyin Foose stopped the timer in :20.069 and earned a 97 speed index.
In winning for the sixth time in nine starts this season, One Flyin Foose increased her bankroll to $37,053. It was the second stakes win for One Flyin Foose who annexed $34,150 the Far West Futurity in her previous start on Oct. 13.
Bred and owned by Matthew Huse, One Flyin Foose is out of 2012 Pot O’Gold Futurity winner One Famous Strawfly. The mare was also a finalist in the 2012 Firecracker Futurity at Grants Pass. One Famous Strawfly has produced 100% winners from two starters. One Flyin Foose is her first stakes winner.
Her second dam, winner Strawfly Lady, has also produced 2013 $161,500 Dash For Cash Derby-G2 winner Captain Strawfly, who has amassed earn- ings of $166,129.

STOLIS PRO
by John Moorehouse
After finishing fourth in last year’s running of the King Rick Rack Stakes, Stolis Pro came back and won this year by 1/2-length on Dec. 1 at Zia Park.
Jackie Riddle trains Stolis Pro, who broke well from the 2-post and led at every remaining call of the 870-yard event. The gelding set the early pace, leading by a head at the first call, then widened the gap to 1/2-length as he entered the stretch. Jockey Francisco Calderon maintained that separation at the wire, as Stolis Pro finished his trip in :46.330 for a 90 speed index.
Stolis Pro remaines undefeated in three outs in 2019—all stakes races.
