CORE III: Enhance Critical Behavior & Skill, it is believed that a good start in the first year of
             work can motivate and empower new exempt employees to work with vigorous and enthusias-
             tic enjoyment. Gaining acceptance from people around them is important for new exempt em-
             ployees to step forward firmly well into the future.

             However, there are at least two challenges new exempt employees must manage to gain the
             acceptance.

             The first thing is since there is no exact instruction in Thailand that offers a course applied di-
             rectly to the way we do business, and products. Any new exempt employees at UTL regardless
             of their work experience must start at the beginning. To produce quality products and services
             requires knowledge and accumulated experience gained from actual work over a long period of
             time. So, the challenge is how to support new exempt employees to learn about their functional
             knowledge as soon as possible.

             The second challenge that can contribute to the gathering of acceptance is to demonstrate
             leadership in line with UTAC core values. We believe a person's leadership rests with the ability
             to strike a balance between fostering good relationships with people and key stakeholders while
             achieving their career & business goals. The challenge is how to support new members strike
             this balance.

             It is believed that a good start in the first year of work can motivate and empower new supervi-
             sors to work with vigorous and enthusiastic enjoyment.


             CORE III is designed to enable new exempt employees to manage these two challenges
             through the transfer of knowledge and experience by the Managers and trainers via group dis-
             cussions on case studies as well as role play to help new exempt employees learn leadership
             and functional skill of each department to allow easy access and self-learning by new exempt
             employees. At the end of CORE III  all new exempt employees will have opportunity to know
             each other more and also exchange what they have learn and experiences with UTL during a
             year through “New Hired Experience Camping” program.
