NATIONAL SERVICE



                      SCHEME (NSS)






          At MIT Arts, Commerce and Science College, NSS program is to inculcate the social welfare thoughts
          amongst the students and to  provide service to the society without any prejudice  and overall
          personality development through social service. NSS volunteers work hard day and night to ensure that
          everyone in our society who is needy gets every possible help from them so that they can also enhance
          their standards and lead a life of dignity in the society with all of us. The volunteers themselves learn a
          lot from the people in villages and community through various activities.




         Maze Kutumb, Mazi Jababdari
         NSS Volunteers Kamesh Gautam and Suyash Barve work as
         Covid Warriors. NSS volunteers help to spread Covid 19
         awareness at their native places. They participated in door to
         door survey during lockdown to study the problems faced by
         the people during lockdown.

         Donation to BALSAMPAC trust, ShelPimpalgaon

         NSS  PO  Prof.  Shriram  Kargaonkar  and  Prof.  Sunil  Mahajan
         (HOD, Electronics) donated grocery to BALSAMPA charitable
         trust as a social responsibility


         Diwali Faral Distribution
         4 NSS volunteers namely Kamesh Gautam, Omkar Bansode,
         Mujjamil Patel and Umesh Lengude under the guidance of NSS
         PO Prof. Shriram Kargaonkar distributed diwali faral to poor and
         homeless people nearby Dighi hill.


         Food Distribution to Lockdown Trapped Students
         & Warkari’s by NSS volunteers

         Mr. Bhushan    Rana  ,  NSS  Volunteer along  with  his  friends
         distributed food packets and 350+  tiffin. Mr. Bhushan  Rana
         along with his friends run a campaign of distribution of   food
         packets in the form of tiffins on their own expenditure through
         the sense of social responsibility and humanity. He distributed
         around 350+ tiffin. Thus, Mr. Bhushan Rana followed the NSS
         Motto, “NOT ME, BUT YOU”.


         Grocery and Vegetable Distribution during
         Lockdown to Tribal area of Nandurbar
         Mr.  Bhushan Rana along with his friends run a campaign of
         distribution of Grocery and vegetables to approximately 55-60
         families with community help in Tribal area of Nandurbar district
         Village—Toranmal.



         Tree Plantation and Conservation
         Mango,Neem,Kadulimb,Gulmohar trees were planted by the
         NSS volunteers.
