UNNAT BHARAT ABHIYAN









         Unnat Bharat Abhiyan is inspired by the vision of transformational change in rural development
         processes by leveraging knowledge institutions to help build the architecture of an Inclusive India.
         Under this Abhiyan, the college has adopted nearby five villages in 2018-19. These villages include
         Vadgaon Ghenand, Koyali (D), Markal, Solu and Charholi (Kh). In 2019-20, household surveys of 926
         families in these five adopted villages were conducted and the report consisting of result analysis of
         these surveys with outcome and recommendations were submitted to the respective gram panchayat
         in Sept 2021.




         •   Seven proposals worth Rs. 608800/- for development of these villages have been submitted to
             Unnat Bharat Abhiyan for funding during Sept-Oct 2020.

         •   Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Committee of the college has conducted two Personality Development

             sessions for school children on topics “Enlightening Little Angels” on 17 Aug 2019 and
             “Enhancing English Speaking” on 13 Sept 2019.

         •   “Tree plantation drive” and Street Plays on “Plastic Free Villages” were conducted in Markal
             during 2019-20.


         •   Skill Enhancement Training session for school teachers was conducted on 20 March 2021.

         •   During 13-17th September 2021, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Committee of the College conducted
             surveys on “Financial Inclusion and Financial Literacy among people in Rural India” in the

             villages adopted by the college.

         •   The objectives behind conducting these activities were to bring the transformational changes
             in the rural development through creating awareness and participatory processes and
             intervention of appropriate technologies.
