Sustainable Green Campus
In addition to be learning centers, our college has self-contained communities that are supported by vast
systems of institutional and operational functions. To create awareness regarding environmental policy
amongst the students and the management, College initiatives for green and sustainable campus are:
• To bring in use the ‘Rain Water Harvesting’ on the campus we have collected the rain
water from the college roof and it is percolated in the land.
• The college has facilities for alternate sources of energy and energy conservation measures
Solar Energy, Wheeling to the grid, Use of LED bulbs/ Power efficient equipment's.
• Use of the solid waste through vermin-compost on the campus and use it as a fertilizer.
• Plastic Free Campus.
• Ban on Noise.
• For Divanghan’s , Wheelchair accessibility is maintained through ramps and lifts.
• Use of the ‘Use me’ Dry and Wet dust bins in the college campus so as to keep college
campus clean.
• To protect and nurture the Flora and Fauna on the campus.
• ‘Green Audit’ is done regularly to maintain green campus.
