Across the Tracks Bluegrass


            Across the Tracks is a five-piece bluegrass band that mixes
            the traditional sound with some old country standards. Th e
            Sunday, May 19 date gives bluegrass listeners a chance to honor
            their mothers on May 12 with a special luncheon, and then
            bring them to this bluegrass show at the American Legion in
            Denton.

            Musicians include Jeff Dillard on bass and vocals from Oxford,

            PA, Darin Wassum on guitar from Aberdeen, James Langer

            on mandolin and vocals, also from Aberdeen, Jeff Blevins on
            banjo, and a relatively new force in the group, Isabela March, a
            graduating student from the Cab Calloway School of the Arts,

            on fiddle from Newark, De.

            The doors for the Sunday May 19 concert open at 12:30. Music
            begins at 1 p.m. with the house band – the “Kitchen Pickers”.
            Across the Tracks set starts at 2 p.m. Admission is $15 and is
            open to the public.
