original Ridgely area family contacted the Lions wanting to
pay it forward by donating an electric powered wheel chair,
a bedside commode, a transfer bench and ten boxes of adult
diapers. We were able to re-power the wheel chair with new
batteries and deliver it to a man in Federalsburg. Th e commode
and transfer bench went into our medical equipment inventory
and the adult diapers were donated to the Caroline County
Dept. of Social Services – Adult Services section.
We also provided a Denton family with a residential hospital Curbside
bed so that their 93 year old mother/grandmother could safely
stay at home with her family. Upon her passing, the family Deep
