Friends of the Caroline County
Library to Celebrate National
Friends of the Library Week
The 18th Annual National Friends of Libraries Week will be
celebrated October 15 - 21. The week is designed to promote
the efforts of community groups, such as the Caroline County
Friends of the Library (FOTL), in supporting the work of local
public libraries.

The deadline to enter the contest is September 30th. Additional

Finally, FOTL is selling raffle tickets for themed baskets, and
the winners will be drawn at the event. The baskets include:
• Out and About Town- includes gift certificates to area
restaurants and other local businesses
• Pamper Yourself- includes gift certificates for local
spas, salons, and other self-care products
• Travel Basket- includes a $100 Southwest gift card and
travel accessories
• Sports Basket- includes two tickets to a Baltimore
Orioles game, including parking pass, and other sports
memorabilia
• In Good Spirits- includes a selection of beer and other
spirits (21 years or older to win)
• On Cloud Wine- includes a selection of wines (21 years
or older to win)
Raffle tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. Tickets are available from
any FOTL board member, or they can be purchased at all three
branches of the Caroline County Public Library. Funds raised
will support library programs, collections, and technology.
