Golf Operations
Outside Operation Procedure Checklist
Opening Shift
1. Clock in & make sure you’re here 1 hour before the first tee time
2. Your staff uniform is always neat and presentable with you name tag visible at all
times
3. Take out the power washer from the bag room & hook it up
4. Pull up enough golf cars for the morning times
5. Stage the golf cars outside the professional shop in a neat and organized manner
6. Look at tee sheet & load up members bags
Opening the Driving Range
1. Golf balls have been cleaned the night prior
2. Rotate the hitting area each day
3. Den Caddies or pyramids are placed 5 paces between each other
4. Put bag stands out & make sure the water in the club washer is clean
5. Clean towels at each station
Closing Shift
1. Power wash & dry each golf car that is being put away
2. Make sure the golf car has no damage, report any damage to the supervisor
3. Fill sand bottles & remove old pin sheet
4. When golf car is parked, make sure the charge “clicks” when plugged in
5. MAKE SURE NO MEMBER OR GUESTS CLUBS ARE PUT AWAY DIRTY
Closing the Driving Range
1. Pick range & hand pick target greens (clean pick on Monday’s)
2. Golf balls are to be washed every night; monitor water in ball washer
3. Empty all trash cans
4. Pick up all broken tees & make sure there are enough golf balls to open the range
the next day
