Switch 2 – Data Window

This switch sets the number of characters after the recognition character in which the EM remote
display will display a weight reading.

For example: if you have an STX for your recognition character, and your data stream looks like
this:

STX Valid Motion Polarity Weight Units ETX
You would want the data window set to 4 because the weight data starts 4 characters after the
STX.

0 BCD Only, not valid for serial input

1 Data starts at the 1st character after the recognition character

2 2nd

3 3rd Switch 3 – Data Stream
4 4th
5 5th All data streams require 1 start bit

0 7 data, odd, 1 stop 7 8 data, even 2 stop

6 6th 1 8 data, odd 1 stop 8 7 data, none 1 stop

7 7th 2 7 data, odd 2 stop 9 8 data, none 1 stop

8 8th 3 8 data, odd 2 stop A 7 data, none 2 stop

9 9th 4 7 data, even 1 stop B 8 data, none 2 stop

10 A 10th 5 8 data, even 1 stop

11 B 11th 6 7 data, even 2 stop

12 C 12th

13 D 13th

14 E 14th

15 F 15th
