Below: Several of the buildings that survived the  ood continue to add to the architecture of Dayton. The Dayton Regional Transit Authority is housed in the former Conover Building on the southeast corner of Third Street at Main Street. More recent construction has continued to improve downtown and the Main Street corridor, and lifts the eyes to greater heights. Windows of the Fifth Third Center at 1 South Main Street re ect the 6 North Main PNC Center by I.M. Pei, who also designed the Paris Louvre pyramid, the John F. Kennedy Library in Boston and several large projects in Asia.
