Franklin: Elm Street looking south
Below: Elm Street in the Mackinaw Addition looking south. The water in the street was not just a left-over puddle from the ood. The ood caused the street to disintegrate, leaving a 10-foot hole in the street. At right was the Edward Eldridge house at 305 Park Avenue. Across Park Avenue, through the trees, was the Clarence Harding house at 302 Park Avenue.
Lower Right: The Edward Eldridge house and others in the Mackinaw Addition continue to be a source of pride for the Franklin community. The Harding Museum is clearly visible in the background of the photo.
