Right: The extensive wood trim throughout 302 Park Avenue, as well as the house itself, have been beautifully preserved. Two-star General Edwin F. Harding was a son of Clarence Harding, the home’s original owner. General Harding and his wife donated the Harding house to the Franklin Area Historical Society. The house serves as a local history museum under the management of the Franklin Area Historical Society.
