80th Midwest Regional Conference
Description of the Activity: On January 20, 2020, Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service, Chi
Chapter Sorors, Xinos, Kudos and HUB Parents volunteered at Berkley High School by sorting
donated items from community members. The donated items were given to local non-profit
agencies that support women, children, disabled families, and local food pantries.

Description of the Activity: On February 29, 2020, Chi Chapter Sorors will present their African
American History program with a panel discussion related to Mainstreaming African American Art:
Past & Present held at the Detroit Institute of Arts from 12 noon-4pm, this event is free and open
to the public. Xinos and Kudos will present their talent for Sorors and Community members in
Dramatic Presentation, Art, and Photography. We are anticipating an enjoyable learning and
sharing experience for all participants.

Description of the Activity: On March 14, 2020 Chi Chapter Xinos and Kudos will attend 2020 Pontiac
National Pan Hellenic Council's Youth Expo; Theme: Love your selfie at the Franco Anthony
Communication Center (inside St. Joseph Hospital). We are hoping to be inspired by the creativity and
dedication observed in the many high school Step teams. Xinos and Kudos hope to network with other
young people from other organizations and invited them to attend our end of year event.

Description of the Activity: March 27-29, 20202, Chi Chapter Xinos/Kudos will be attending the
Midwest Regional Youth Leadership Conference in Kansas City, MO with the host chapter Gamma
Beta, Kansas City, KS. Three Xinos and two Kudos will be competing in a variety of talent areas. Chi
Chapter Xinos/Kudos, HUB parent and Sorors look forward to a fun-filled weekend focused on the
conference theme: "Be the Change You Wish to See!"
