t Description of the Activity: Mommie Talk-Champions of Parenting Backpack Giveaway

e Saturday, August 24, 2019: Chi Chapter Xinos and Kudos assisted the Mommie Talk- Champions of
n Parenting organization distribute over 200 backpacks and supplies at First United Church 8801Joy
j Road Detroit, Ml. Xinos, Kudos and Sorors volunteered from 12 noon until 4:30 p.m. Our task was to
o man the registration table, stuff backpacks, distribute back packs and take pictures of the event. This
y event was very successful, and we look forward to teaming up with the Mommie Talk organization
. again in the future.

P Saturday, September 14, 2019: Chi Chapter Xinos and Kudos participated in a SK awareness walk
a around the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History and the Midtown

t Detroit area. Chi Chapter raised $180 for the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America, Michigan
i Chapter, Inc. Fun was had by all participants as we hustle danced, walked, laughed and cheered for
c teams that raised thousands of dollars for Sickle Cell research.
