The program explored the significant contributions of the Tuskegee Airmen, the Buffalo soldiers and
the 54th Regiment. Retired Tuskegee Airman Pilot 2nd Lt. Lawton Wilkerson was presented a
recognition award. Crete-Monee High School’s ROTC Drill team performed a military style step
routine tribute.

Tau had members that participated in the Annual Kwanzaa Festival at the Central Library. They also
volunteered and facilitated the Democratic Candidates at the Urban League Convention; Assisted in
