STEP 2. Determine the df(degrees of freedom) for the various SVs

STEP 3.Compute the tSS and the ESS
For tSS, since the number of replications is equal for all treatments, the
divisor ( r ) to be used should be common to all the squares of treatment totals.
Thus, the computation will be:
