2. IMPLEMENTATION

 Institution’s Information and Orientation Services

The DSSD initiated the General Orientation Program ever academic
year. Through the initiative of the DSSD chairperson, the Orientation
Program will be done university wide.

The Orientation will be scheduled by the university through the
issuance of the University Calendar. The University Calendar will be
furnished to all the offices, head units and colleges of the campus before
the official beginning of the academic year.

The Orientation Program will be conducted in order to inform all the
students about the different programs of the university. This program will
be done for one day to discuss about the different services to be offered to
all the students.

Provision of relevant materials to students to enhance their
knowledge and awareness on personal, social development, work-related
issues and job-hunting tips and current educational career trends through
the conduct of seminars are the activities to inform the students in
interesting manner.

Conducting group and individual orientation to students on how to
adjust and cope with their new environment in a new stage of their life will
be administered to all the students.
