        IMPLEMENTATION

                   From the approved University organizational structure, the library is under the supervision of the
                   Vice President for Academic Affairs.  Having 3 library personnel, it is also organized according to the
                   two main functions:  Reader’s services  ( readers assistance, reference, circulation) and the Technical
                   services ( acquisition, cataloging, indexing, bibliography, abstract, accession, mechanical processing
                   of books);

                   The  library  maintains  a  duly  approved  Library  Manual/Handbook  which  covers  the  policies,
                   procedures,  internal  administration  and  operational  activities  of  the  library.    It  is  widely
                   disseminated,  strategically  displayed  in all  sections  of  the  library  for  information  to  the  reading
                   public;

                   The  Functional  Library  Committee  meets  regularly  for  at  least  once  in  every  semester  for  the
                   purpose of consultation, discussions of plans for the development and improvement of the library.
                   The Librarian is working closely with the academic community particularly on the choice of book
                   titles and other necessary provisions;

                   A long/short term development plan is always prepared in consultation with the stakeholders, such
                   plan is monitored and evaluated regularly as to its accomplishment and compliance.

                   The Head Librarian is highly qualified for the job.  She is Masters Degree holder in the library science,
                   with excellent supervisory work managing professional and para-professional staff for more than
                   20years.  As member of the Campus Official, she participates well in the academic and administrative
                   meetings and other related activities.
