Mission
The NECT’s mission is to mobilise national capacity to assist government to achieve distinctive, substantial
and sustainable improvements in education.
We want South African children to possess skills, knowledge and attitudes that enable them to live
economically gainful and fulfilled lives.

VISION
Committed to ensuring a South Africa where 90% of learners pass mathematics, science and languages
with at least 50% by 2030
