Being in quarantine can be repetitive at times,
which has meant me taking my daily dose of
TV shows and films on Netflix. Whilst loung-
ing in my living room and switching the TV
screen from one genre to another. I started to
think about how Covid-19 is affecting British
actors, as well as the comparison between
the acting scene in the UK and Hollywood.

          Covid-19 and British actors

British Actor and writer Vauxhall Jermaine
(pictured right) is of Nigerian-Kittian descent.
He is known for his unique roles in This Is
England ’90, The Virtues, Rig 45 and many
more. BRITISH ACTOR & WRITER VAUXHALL JERMAINE

Vauxhall shared with me what quarantine Her journey so far has meant being and then I was offered it.

the fact that he cannot audition or film or car- motivated to do more things, like

For upcoming British actors like Sèverine
          Howell-Meri and Charity Muiruri, Corona-
virus has impacted them in many ways. Of
          Guadeloupean and British descent, Sèverine,
22, started her acting career throughout her
school life, from school plays and attending
          rehearsals in high school.

To completing a foundation course at drama
school, securing a theatre job and then ALT
training. An acting course which led her to be
          signed by an agent.
