Northeast District Report
Lynzie Schulte, PT, DPT – Chair
The Northeast District has been busy
planning, organizing, and holding CE
and social events throughout 2017
Fun things we have done so far
include PT Pub Nights at Prosperity
Social Club and Hansa Brewery,
gathered for our Annual Picnic, and
100 of us went to the 5th Annual
Night Out with the Indians! Many of
us were able to meet up in Columbus
for Annual Conference and Advocate for our profession at the Statehouse too!
We’ve also held two CE events including Hamstring Strains: Mechanism, Management, and Return-To-Sport presented by DJ Hass and Carol Mack in April as well as Scott Euype and Christine Schulte presenting in June with an APTA Update and Federal and State Legislative Update. Thank you to Leimkuehler Inc and French Creek Medical for sponsoring these fantastic education courses!
Are you interested in getting more involved? Know someone who would make a great leader in the district? Elections and appointments will be held at our Strategic Planning Meeting on November 4, open positions for 2017 will include Secretary, Director B, Nominating Coordinator, Membership Coordinator, PAC coordinator, and State Affairs Coordinator. Not ready to commit? Just come to a meeting or an event to learn more about us!

West Central District Report
Sabrina Kaminski, PT – Chair
I am nearing the end of my second term as the West Central District Chair It has been said before that you don’t know how much an organization does until you get involved This proves to be true It has truly been eye-opening to see how a staff of three people and the many volunteers can accomplish so much If you want a small glimpse, just check out the podcasts on the OPTA website!
In the West Central District, we have accomplished increased consistency in attendance for business meetings and continuing educational events, further social experiences in the form of PT pub nights, and ensuring we give back to the community via our volunteer opportunities. Thank you for being committed and continuing to strive to drive our profession
