Company Excellence through Matching in Leadership
• There is the Internet specialist who has no feeling for the
feelings of team members and with whom even words of
appreciation come across as harsh and belligerent.
• The copywriter, responsible for writing the module's text, is
bursting with creativity, but annoys other team members
with her pronounced tendency to work chaotically.
• The employee who is responsible for the didactic support is
an outspoken pedant and resists every innovation tooth and
nail.
• The project manager, equipped with a high dominant share,
clashes with the equally hot-tempered team member who, as
the visionary head, is responsible for the innovative
direction of the learning module.
In a second attempt, the company decides to ensure that the
qualifications of the team members complement each other in a
meaningful way.
The team needs professionals, each covering an area
necessary to plan, create, and implement the knowledge
management system. The same should apply to the
behavioral area.
The problem: It would be quite a coincidence if the team members were
complementary in their skills and in their behavioral patterns without
contradiction. The challenge: Nevertheless, the consideration of
whether the behavioral styles are complementary should play a role.
That is why the team composition now takes into account the
competencies of the members and also the personality profiles. In
order to be able to assess the values, attitudes, behaviors and
competencies of the members more concretely and to determine their
personality profiles, the company decides to use Out- Match ASSESS
by SCHEELEN® for competency analysis.
