THE POWER OF READING PEOPLE
Setting specific objectives simplifies change, guiding us on where
and how to evolve. Successfully navigating change allows us to
better leverage our abilities.
Moreover, behavior in social interactions is influenced by several
factors, including the development of emotional intelligence. While
someone might predominantly display traits associated with one
color, one style, in the behavioral model, their daily interactions
are colored by the intensity of all traits combined—their intrinsic
motivators and emotional acumen.
In essence, we’re not just a single trait or style; our unique behav-
ioral style is the composite of all traits, our driving forces, and our
emotional intelligence.
THINK ABOUT IT!
Tackling the question of personal change requires introspection and
conversation. Reflect on these prompts and engage others in dia-
logue to gain a broader perspective:
• Reflect on your and others’ experiences with altering certain
behavioral traits. What efforts were made, and what outcomes
resulted?
• Examine your reaction to the belief, “This is just who I am;
change isn’t an option.” How does this mindset align with your
values and life experiences?
• Identify the transformations needed to tap into your unrealized
potential. What specific steps could you take to harness and
maximize these latent qualities?
By considering these questions, you initiate a journey of self-dis-
covery and change that can lead to profound personal growth and
fulfillment.
