REGIMENT OF ARTILLERY-THROUGH THE REUNIONS
ang on the scheduled time the flower decked train
B steamed out amidst the ‘jais’ of the Regiment of Artillery
and Artillery Centre, from the pensioners travelling in the
train. As the train slowly moved past the platform, the waving
of hands went higher and higher, the rhythm of bands slowed
down and all eyes, many of them in silent tears, remained glued
on the steaming train till it disappeared in the horizon.
And thus the Sixth Reunion became part of the
Gunners’ Regimental history.
