LANDSCAPE MODIFICATION
I was given to modify the existing
landscape .
Modification was done in the steps as
there was an confusion in level
difference so, mam did plan an
mentioned level difference in plan
according to it I designed the steps
,some left behind for seating whereas
some for circulation with rise height of
165mm . In the middle to break down
the monotonous stone texture one long
multiple wooden studs of 30*30 mm is
used .
varying in height of planter box has
added beauty to the landscape.

LEARNING

• 300mm is left for the soil filling.
• During construction drainage is
properly managed as this landscaping
is above the Rcc structure 40mm pcc
is done with proper inclination so that
water completely wash out to the
drainage.
• Usually there are two types of planter
box one is factory manufactured
standard one and another is on site
fabrication with thickness of 100mm
and finishing with granite.

• Got to know that in 165mm riser 65mm
is used to keep light .it means
introducing light underneath the step
will enhance the design.
• In those area during construction
electrical line are already provided.
