LEARNING FROM ANALYSIS

• Learned that varying the slab levels can enhance the building architecture and provide
different type of platform for interesting space.
• Different drop slab can be designed to provide adequate space for terrace garden so that
after filling and giving different treatment to slab the level reach to original position.
Usually, 1ft is dropped.

STAIRCASE DESIGN Option 1

When I reached in detailing of staircase in
working drawing .i was given to design
the staircase first and then detailing so, I
started exploring different type and design
technique of stair case design and
proposed various options .

OPTION 1: In this design for first flight
staircase is stabilized by one portion with
wall in and another end in 12 mm
toughened glass with 40*40*2.5mm angle
section.
For another flght I beam 100*150 is
connected from column through bolding to
first floor
