C. Past Continuous Tense

This is used to say that something was in progress (going on) around a particular time in the

past or telling the progression of an event when another event happened in the past time (two

events happened at the same time)

Time signals/Adverb of time:

- yesterday at 7

- when S + V-2

- while S + was/were V-ing
