Science Serial - Cosmic Quest
26-episodes serial on ‘Cosmic Quest’ is being produced jointly with Jadavpur University Kolkata. The review committee has finalised three episodes on the above topic and others are under different stages of production.
Weekly Science News Programmes - Science Monitor and Gyan Vigyan
26-episode Science Monitor (English) and 52-episodes Gyan Vigyan (Hindi) were produced and broadcast weekly for highlighting the recent development of science and technology. These news programmes are being telecast on Rajya Sabha TV (RSTV). The duration of each news programme is about 30 minutes. These weekly news programmes cover important national and international events, discoveries, and happenings in the field of science and technology. The programmes were broadcast every Saturday between 15:00 to 16:00 hrs and every Sunday between 11:00 to 12:00 hrs on RSTV.
A weekly science news programme, ‘Science This Week’ (English) and ‘Vigyan Darpan’ (Hindi) was also telecast on DD-Science every Monday between 17:00 and 18:00 hrs on Doordarshan.
