Two-week-long science communication course: A national-level two-week short- term course on “science writing” titled “Wow Science” was organised at IISER Pune from 9 to 21 December. The intense course was conducted by the core team consisting of Dr TV Venkateswaran, VP and Shri Vivek Kannadi, Science Media Centre IISER. This is an annual programme organised by VP to develop young science communicators with an appropriate background in science. At the end of the programme, the third volume of “Scintillate” was published. As an outcome of this workshop, many students have been inspired to take up science communication activities in various forms.

Activity Camps
Science Fusion
A week-long science activity-based programme/ summer workshop, ‘Science Fusion-2019’, was organised exclusively for children up to class 9, during 20-27 May 2019, at Vigyan Prasar, A-50, Sector 62, Noida (UP).
